We all do self talk at times; it’s a bit like inner checking up, however for some people as I will explain this self talk can become a problem.
For some of us the “Inner Voice” is more like a constant radio braodcast than an occassional comfortable chat. The voice drones on and on until the person stops listening to it. Phases it out and it becomes just background or white noise.
Unfortunately if the message is constantly negative; your unconscious mind is being bombarded 24/7 with negative messages, with constant warnings to be careful; to not trust this person or that situation. Your internal dialogue is there to keep you safe and well, but if it is too anxious you will find a sense of generalised anxiety colouring everything you do, say or feel.
This is why some people have self confidence or esteem issues, not trusting themselves to choose well, or believing in their own strength and ability. Tuning back in and actually listening to what is programmed inside your own mind is very important.
Changing those negatives into neutral or better still; positive comments will make a very big difference to the way you live your life. Hypnotherapy and NLP practices allow you insight and knowledge about yourself both are vital to understanding how you shape and benefit your life; day by day.
Once we recognise what we need to do to make improvements most of us find it so easy to make those positive changes to habits and attitudes. All of us want to be happy and make others happy too.
